About the event

TaroHacks is an exciting 2-day hackathon happening on January 4th-5th, brought to you by FIRST Tech Challenge Team Taro #13218, a passionate robotics team based in Santa Clara, CA. Designed to inspire creativity and innovation, TaroHacks caters to students with all levels of programming experience—whether you’re just starting or a seasoned coder.

Our mission is to empower the next generation of problem solvers by offering an inclusive space to develop meaningful projects, gain hands-on experience, and sharpen both technical and soft skills. Through workshops, mentorship, and collaboration, participants will embark on a journey of discovery and growth, all while building solutions that matter.

Aspiring AI Research Scientist passionate about robotics, ML, app development, and music, with extensive experience in iOS app development, developing 10+ apps with 2 published on the app store. Currently, a Middle Schooler working in a nonprofit driven to end food waste with a food surplus marketplace.
