Minnesota Girl Up Gala,

About the event

The first annual Girl Up Gala is excited to announce that we have partnered up with Girl Up Clubs throughout the entire state of Minnesota to give students, alumni, mothers, and the public female population a night to celebrate. The night focuses on Women's empowerment and Education. The night will hopefully feature keynote speakers, catered dinner, a live DJ, a silent auction, and more if budget allows. 

Why should you sponsor?

A sponsor should support this event because it is going towards a good cause. Young, female students are organizing this event in the hope of giving club members a good time and raising money for a good cause. Women's rights are such a prominent issue within our society, and this event will help to educate and combat these issues.

Our mission at Girl Up is to emphasize the idea that women are capable of achieving great success and greatness while promoting and practicing inclusion, unity, and representation of women within our communities. We want to focus on breaking the glass ceiling of our community. We also hope to address gender equality issues that are present within our society, whether it be through presentations, guest speakers, or by working hands-on in our community. Our clubs encourage both men and women to gain a better understanding of what feminism means, increase awareness of what feminism means, and increase awareness about the actions we as individuals can take to impact women and the feminist community better.
