About the event
Hatfield College's Lion in the Winter Ball is the most anticipated event of the college calendar and the last Hatfield ball of this year! It spans over a course of twelve hours- making it one of the longest college balls as well as holding one of the largest attendance capacities.
The ball is a charity one as we feel it is important to give back to the community around us in anyway we can. This year we have selected The Rainbow Trust who provide all sorts of support to families who have children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses. We feel this charity does life changing work and we want to be able to donate as much as we can!
The event features a four-course meal, selected by a dedicated tean and a variety of different forms of entertainment and live music to keep people busy throughout the night! This is a historic ball in college and we wish to create another unforgettable year for everyone and embrace the large scale of the college community- leaving ample room for sponsorship!
Why should you sponsor?
Our executive committee and wider team is full of active members of the Hatfield College community who work tirelessly to ensure that these events run smoothly for the rest of the college and that we give back to the wider community around us! We are looking to work with sponsors that we all personally love and have an avid interest in the ball as well!
Leading up to the event we send out physical advertisements and media ones to ensure the greatest reach possible. These are all sent to our over 1000 JCR members meaning there is a huge amount of recipients looking at the sponsors for that year. We hope to have a raffle on the night and various other fundraising activities that offer more oppportunity for your brand to be involved and noticed throughout our college!
Carmen KilgannonMy name is Carmen Kilgannon and I am the Head of Sponsorship for the Lion in the Winter Ball 2025. Having the opportunity to work on such a historic ball committee is a fantastic exxperience and I am aiming to make this one of the best years yet! I am in my second year of studying Religion, Society and Culture in which I have spent a lot of time reflecting on communities and their importance to individuals hence such an interest in ensuring an enjoyable time for everyone! I want to create as many opportunities for sponsors to get involved as possible and would to add to the team!
