About the event

SCV BandsCast is an event and podcast series that features local Santa Clarita musicians performing original music. The Main Theater commissioned SCV BandsCast to produce six, two-hour, bi-monthly live shows throughout 2025. Each event consists of an opening solo act, followed by a 45-minute musical set from our featured artist. After a short break, the show resumes with a raffle, an engaging interview, and an audience Q&A session.

As a 40-year broadcast television veteran now semi-retired, I channel my extensive production expertise into two passion projects: running my recording studio and producing the burgeoning SCV BandsCast. What began as a personal endeavor, simply capturing a friend's band, organically evolved into a professional commission to produce live shows for The Main theater. It's truly thrilling to apply decades of television production experience to a project that feels deeply meaningful and allows me to contribute directly to the vibrant Santa Clarita arts community.
